Museum of Idiots

I wonder if anyone else has noticed the strong influence of Bach on They Might Be Giants' "Museum of Idiots" (Spine). Those wonderful explosive brass interludes punctuating the song remind me very much of Bach's Orchestral Suites -- with the three trumpets, high (clarino), low (principal), low (principal) stacked on top of one another to make beautiful chords.

I haven't heard that album, and the snippet of the song on Amazon doesn't really convey sufficient info for a considered judgment. But TMBG generally does wonderful crazy stuff with the brass. "Spy" comes to mind.
