A linguist associated with Language Log has written a program to find "snowclones" -- variations on cliché phrases. The meme of snowclones is well established. Now, instead of your having to laboriously query Google and tally, the program does the work for you.

The program needs rewriting; the author should have read perldoc perlstyle, and it should really use SOAP to query the Google API instead of shelling out to wget at every opportunity.
