Michael Holt
May. 10th, 2006 03:53 pmOne of my old friends from high school has resurfaced in time for the 20th reunion, and has turned into quite the pop musician. Some of his music is here; the best track, IMO, is The Burning Of The Trees; it's atypical of his output, and he needs to stretch his phrases across the bar, but it's lovely nonetheless.

Date: 2006-05-10 11:15 pm (UTC)All these new friends want me to go with them
They want to take me to see their homeland
I do not know if I will go with them
I do not think I would have some fun.
I Do Not Think I Would Have Some Fun

Date: 2006-05-11 01:57 am (UTC)Sam Bardfeld has a disk out that I just saw but didn't buy (because $16 is real money for me at the moment) at J&R's jazz section, the name of which I don't recall, plus he apparently plays on Bruce Springsteen's new Pete Seeger tribute album.
I hope Mike shows up next month; Sam, I've seen at previous reunions (he married another classmate, Jessica Gerson), but Mike I haven't seen these 20 years.
