"Okracoke" must be one of the placenames most attractive to poets. Perhaps this is due to the internal assonance; perhaps it is due to the juxtaposition of two Southern nouns, "okra" and "Coke" (tm). But I've seen it in at least four published poems this year, and I say, enough of it, at least for a while. Unless your poem is about the Outer Banks, the word has been used.
