Museum of Idiots

I wonder if anyone else has noticed the strong influence of Bach on They Might Be Giants' "Museum of Idiots" (Spine). Those wonderful explosive brass interludes punctuating the song remind me very much of Bach's Orchestral Suites -- with the three trumpets, high (clarino), low (principal), low (principal) stacked on top of one another to make beautiful chords.

Still Misunderstood

I went to choir rehearsal to night in my Perl t-shirt, the finest I own with the exception of my sed-and-awk shirt. All these people started congratulating me for liking Bill O'Reilly.
