If I were to write and perform a song on national television sympathetic to the economic plight of procurers of women, I would be subject to immediate and vigorous moral censure.

Not only was the Three-6 Mafia applauded for such a song, but the song won the Oscar.

My housemate coyote3502 is looking for rides between the Santa Ana airport and Irvine next week - his wife deedeebythebay posted about it here. Having spent time on the periphery of the entertainment business, dealing with its denizens, all I can say is that it's the sorriest, most neurotic cluster of hypocrisy, insecurity, and cognitive dissonance that you can imagine.

I must also confess that I find Jon Stewart to be supremely unfunny.
