I've just read Larry Wall's Apocalypse 12, and it surpasses my comprehension. Really, when I think about it, my programming fits comfortably into the Perl 4 I learned in 1993. I understood some of Perl 5's object system due to the book by Damian Conway. But Apocalypse 12 makes mock of my feeble understanding. I hope that the perl6 types actually write the converter that turns perl5 into perl6, because I do not expect to be using perl6 natively. Well, I'll try.
